Further Involvement
For those looking to get involved in exciting, lab-related activities, two opportunities for further involvement exist!
RA Social Committee
The RA Social Committee consists of a group of volunteer research assistants (RAs) who are responsible for planning and organizing socials, as well as keeping with the lab tradition of celebrating birthdays, for all lab members. Some of our previous events include, barbeques at local parks, watching movies, end-of-year in-lab celebrations, and much more! If event planning is right up your alley, then consider joining the RA Social Committee and making some new friends along the way. To volunteer, please contact us via email at (rascusf@gmail.com). We look forward to hearing from you!
A Life worth Living
A Life worth Living (ALL) is a mental health organization at USF that grew out of our Collaborative Suicide Prevention Project as a sustainability effort for all of our mental wellness initiatives on campus. ALL is dedicated to eradicating mental health stigma and encouraging students to seek helpful resources and services both on-campus and in the community. ALL hopes to contribute to a positive mental health climate at USF by disseminating evidence-based educational resources on mental health and suicide prevention, collaborating with other mental health organizations and departments on-campus, such as the USF Counseling Center, hosting stress-free events with arts and crafts, and so much more! Some of ALL's previous events include, co-hosting an honorarium on sexual assault awareness, co-hosting the annual Survivors of Suicide Night for two consecutive years, and fundraising for Tampa Bay's 6th Annual Out of the Darkness Walk. If mental wellness is your passion and you hope to make a difference on our campus, then please register with us on (Bullsync), like us on Facebook, and stop by one of our general body meetings held on Wednesdays in the MSC. For further information, contact the president, Emily Pedone at emilyfaithva@mail.usf.edu. ALL can't wait to meet you!
