RL Circuit as a DC/AC filter

Submitted : Fall 2012

For this project, one is to conduct a first order Euler series, using Microsoft Excel, in order to model the behavior of a RL Circuit. Using the Excel pages, one is able to calculate the necessary values for the voltage of both the resistor, and the inductor. From there, one is able to graph the plots of E, VL and VR and analyzed the results; the VR graph representing a DC voltage graph and the VL plot representing a AC voltage graph. Additionally, one can observe the changes the effect of changing the inductance value, L, made of the data. Although one uses two new inductance values, the data continued to remain constant, with the end result being very close to that of the original data.
