River erosion and sediment deposition are one of the main reasons of floods, buildings distractions etc. Using mathematical formulas and other geographical tools, it enables us to predict future riverbed shifts and prevent us from building in a site where erosion will occur. This paper shows the general method and tools used to calculate the river’s velocity, discharge, hydraulic radius, and sediment deposition. Most of the biotic depend directly and indirectly on river systems so it is our responsibility to protect and conserve the environment.
