Reaction Forces on a Beam with a Distributed Load

To find the reaction forces of F_A and F_B in part (a), I found the equation of the function w(x). After finding the equation, I used integral calculus to find the total force and the force at F_B; then subtracted the total force by F_B to get F_A. Then, I used excel to calculate the reaction forces at F_A and F_B, and compared my results from excel with my results from integration. For part (b), I also used excel to calculate the reaction forces at F_A and F_B. The end results were as expected based on the step size used.
