Proactive Interference

For this experiment, a standard memory study was conducted using the proactive interference method of the A-B and A-C association lists. There were two groups of subjects, each consisting of 4 participants, and the trials tested their ability to remember lists of 10 associations each. With the data from the study, which was conducted over a span of 2.5 hours, a graph illustrating binomial distribution was created. This probability mass function was then used to compare against data from the study to determine the effects of proactive interference on memory.
