Calculus Determining Drug Dosages

by Myra Cardona

Submitted : Spring 2021

This project was done to calculate the proper dosage of acetaminophen to administer to an infant as the proper dosage for infants are not included on many boxes of Tylenol, which makes it harder for parents to administer medicine to their child when needed. Convert the child’s weight to kilograms, convert the kilograms to milligrams, and use the conversion number given for the medication to be divided by the milligrams calculated. From the results it can be concluded that if you were to administer acetaminophen to an infant you would give 1.42ml with the suspension liquid and 0.46ml for the concentrate drops.
