Suggestions on Household Water Meter Designs to Prevent Cheating

This research takes place in Vietnam, where non-electronic water meters are the most common to be found in every house or building. Due to the increasing demand for water, increasing price of water, and unresolved low household income issues, cheating on water metering systems in Vietnam is increasingly common. This project is going to review the most efficient way of cheating on the water metering system in Vietnam and introduce several designs that may help improving the quality of the existing non-electronic water meters in rural and suburban areas in Vietnam.
