Submitted : Fall 2017 Invasive species that grow in the water of the Orlando Wetlands Park are problematic to the growth of native species and to the function of the park. Their spread needs to be controlled with a variety of methods, most notably herbicides. Water lettuce is a non-native invasive species that grows rapidly in the heat of Florida, causing numerous problems for the plants and animals of the Orlando Wetlands Park. Related Links:
