Ballistic Pendulum: How to Measure the Speed and Strength of a Bullet when Fired.

Ballistic pendulums are used in gun ranges and gun manufactures to determine that muzzle speed of bullets from fire arms. The equations used to calculate the muzzle speed usually neglect the effects of air resistance of the bullet as it travels from the gun to the ballistic pendulum. In this paper, we derived an equation to compensate for the effects of air resistance in ballistic pendulum calculations.
