Analysis of Precipitation Data

The Goal of this project is to calculate the volume of direct runoff for a 4 inch precipitation event in a small town in North Carolina. The given data is based on a 1 inch precipitation event. Applying the problem parameters, we plotted the data forming the observed hydrograph. We then use the horizontal line method to separate the base flow from the direct runoff. We then calculate the volume under the direct runoff curve to determine the total volume of run off for a 4 inch storm.
