In this paper we shall examine moiré patterns. Which are two or more images that are superimposed on top of each other, at different pitches producing another image. To show this an online program is used to produce a variety of moiré images at differing pitches. A formula is then used to determine the pitch of the moiré pattern, this formula is used to draw a conclusion about the behavior of moiré patterns and prove their practical usefulness. Further moiré pattern releated problems are then solved and discussed.
