Natural Sciences >> Environmental SciencesRemoval of Atmospheric Ammonia During a Rain Eventby Adit Patel
Submitted : Spring 2013 Atmospheric Ammonia can cause detrimental health effects if the concentration is too high. Events in nature such as rain attempt to scrub away the ammonia, but how much is lost during such an event? This project looks at an 18 minute rain event in order to calculate the fraction of ammonia lost and as a result determine the effectiveness of ammonia removal.
