Design of a Spiral Walkway

My project focuses on a spiral walkway that follows the relationship of the golden ratio. My tasks were to find the degrees of the spiral walkway after it reached the specified height, the final width of the walkway, and the total length of the walkway. In addition, I was also asked to make a graph of the spiral and to compute the energy needed to walk up these classical stairs. To solve these tasks I was given the golden spiral equation and the vertical component equation and used the arc length formula in three dimensions.
