Engineering >> Civil & Environmental EngineeringArea of Juniper Diningby Samuel Rodriguez
Submitted : Spring 2012 After discussion with Dr. Grinshpan, a conclusion arose that determining the square inches of Juniper Dining would prove to be a suitable concept for a final project. The building was divided into several sections in order to facilitate the task of measuring. A tape measure was used in order to determine the lengths and widths of sections that resembled rectangles, triangles, trapezoids, and the remaining sections which resembled curves. To find the measurements of the area under the curves, trapezoidal integral approximations were used.
