Natural Sciences >> AstrophysicsKeplar's Second Law Applicationsby Elliot Chernofsky
Submitted : Spring 2011 In order to be able to send a spacecraft, or satellite into space, one must first understand the knowledge it takes to send such a vessel into orbit or out into far deep space. There are other planets and stars that could interfere with most projects, such as trying to take a picture of a far off place in space, or trying to send something into orbit around another object. One of the many important pieces of knowledge that one must understand, would be Keplar's laws, especially the second law. Newton's third law also plays a part in understanding space and how objects travel and act in space. Having the knowledge of how an object moves in space, as well as in orbit, one might be able to begin to understand why timing is so important when it comes to projects dealing with space.
