Spatial Dispersion of Liatris tenufolia

The goal of this paper is to apply the Poisson distribution method to determine the
varying probabilities between pollinators visiting a clumped sample of Liatris tenufolia plants
and pollinators visiting a non-clumped sample of plants. Given the clumped and non-clumped
samples we will apply the Poisson distribution to determine the varying probabilities of
pollinators visiting either group. The data collected and the Poisson distribution calculations will
show a preferential dispersion among Liatris tenufolia to be clumped, as it is more likely that
pollinators will visit clumped plants over non-clumped plants.
