Case Study of a Volcanic Eruption: Mount Tambora 1815

In this work we have evaluated a number of scenarios surrounding a volcanic eruption, using data from the 1815 Mount Tambora eruption where available. We have modeled projectile travel out from the eruption site using kinematics equations and evaluated pyroclastic flows and overpressure build-up in a magma chamber beneath the volcano.
