Natural Sciences >> OtherUtilizing Math to Predict Methane Emissions Levels in Florida in a Yearby Anna Stoner
Submitted : Spring 2022
The concept of this project is to predict how high levels of methane, resulting from cows in Florida will be this year using math to do so. Using the population data of cattle in Florida for a span of five years and the average amount of methane produced by a single cow in a year, using a mean formula to calculate the answer. It is predicted that about two hundred and thirteen thousand, four hundred thirty-four pounds of methane will be released via the excrement of the cattle population in Florida. With this high of a number, it should raise a level of concern and should push change in the direction of cattle’s diets. Related Links:
