Pool pump energy determination

An analysis of pumping water from a pool was done to determine the energy and efficiency of the process. Three commercial pumps were compared, and the fundamentals of work and energy were applied. The work done by each pump and the theoretical work needed were compared to estimate the efficiency of the process. The analysis concluded that the process is very inefficient with a large demand for time and energy
