Engineering >> AerodynamicsThe Calculus of Skydiving - Terminal Speedby Paul Wagner
Submitted : Fall 2014 The objective of this project is to derive and solve the equation of terminal velocity for a skydiver falling towards earth in two dimensions. As well as deriving the general equations of motions to calculate the distance and time it takes a skydiver to reach terminal velocity. For simplicity, we considered the skydiver falling in the same position, with its orientation being perpendicular to the direction of motion at all times.
