This project aims to study water purification through the method of reverse osmosis. Consequently, examining van’t Hoff’s equation is the most crucial part to understanding this project. The knowledge behind the examination allows the gateway to understanding the machinery. After studying the equation, it is vital to manipulate the equation and utilize a computer algebra system. Utilizing the computer algebra system to provide graphs and compute the parameters into the equation provides a picture of the mathematical aspect behind the machinery of reverse osmosis.
