Astronomy: Space Shuttle Landing

by Wilson Collado

Submitted : Spring 2012

This project sets a space shuttle in various situations like landing, taking off, and hovering. By using physics from Galileo and Newton’s studies, and deriving expressions from known equations, one is able calculate all of the phases a space shuttle goes through while exploring a planet. After the calculations, the results all made logical sense, and were all achieved by using only a few given variables.
