The objective of this paper is finding the work, force, fuel usage, as well as related measurements of an engine in a stress situation. The engine we will be looking at is the 2013 ford fusion's 2.5 L 4-Cylinder engine. To keep things simple, we will also be looking at the base model "S" and assuming even weight around the car. We will be using Sugarloaf in Clermont Florida as a basis for our uphill and incline calculations. Sugarloaf Mountain has an average grade of around 15% (which is roughly 9 degrees) and ranges 1.8 miles (2896.8 meters).
