Engineering >> Civil & Environmental EngineeringCalculation of Deflection of Beams By Integrationby Robert Ruppel
Submitted : Spring 2018 This project revolved around the solving of a beam deflection curve problem which relates to the field of Civil Engineering with a specification of Structural Civil Engineering. The problem was solved through a double integration of provided base equation setup of a moment of the beam. Once the integration had occurred, the end points and their known values were utilized to solve for the unknown portions of the integrated equation. The answer was then fully calculated with the final application of the x value where the slope of the beam was zero, resulting in the full calculation of the maximum curve of deflection.
