Using the specifications of a possible flight from the United States to Brazil, we could determine the velocity of the airplane as a function of time. We took the derivative of the position function to calculate the velocity of the airplane as a function of time. This calculated the velocity formula which was then used to determine the time that the airplane would take to travel from the United States to Brazil.
