Calculating Sustainable Renewable Resources

With a sustainable renewable resource in our grasps, the science of fishery management came to life. This includes the science behind obtaining the largest yield possible while maintaining a supply of fish for an indefinite amount of time. This paper reviews the process of identifying the population of fish, the logistic growth, the carrying capacity as well as the maximum yield. The success and livelihood of fisheries around the world depend on this process.
