Exploring the SIS Epidemic model in relation to the common cold

This study looks at why people frequently get sick i.e. by the common cold. It’s simply a non-stop cycle that perpetuates without regard for the individual. While there are other models that model epidemics for other diseases for example: SIR, SIRS, SEIS; the model that is predominantly defined for the common cold is the SIS model. This study explores the methodology used in the SIS model since this system applies to the common cold reinfection paradigm. If there is any R(0) value then a contact number can be calculated. The SIS model is what can be called a constant chain of getting sick without building or acquiring any type of immunity.
