Engineering >> Chemical & Biomedical EngineeringAnalysis of a Turbojet Engineby Timothy Feldmann
Submitted : Spring 2014 The purpose of this generic problem involving a turbojet engine is to find expected engine output given standard atmospheric conditions and ideal operation, including isoentropic behavior throughout the internals of the engine. By relating the influence of each subsection of the engine to its effect on the temperature and pressure of the fluid (air), one can determine the output of the engine in terms of velocity, work, and other designations to a degree suitable for predicting the behavior of engines in less than ideal situations.
