Medicine >> OtherThe Half-Life of a Drugby Yuliya Pavlova
Submitted : Fall 2013 This project explains that a half-life is the amount of time it takes for any substance to reach half of its potency. Half-life is a first order kinetics equation and can be calculated by looking at a graph of decay or by information such as percentage of decay and time. In order to monitor any types of substances in a body, it is crucial to know the half-life of such substance, which can be used in finding the steady rate in which a drug or substance reaches equilibrium.
