Welcome to the Department of Mathematics & Statistics TA/Adjunct Resource Site! The purpose of this site is to provide instructors easy access to departmental policies and university resources. Please review the information presented carefully. If you have any questions, comments, or situations that arise during the semester, please contact Sarina Maldonado (TAs) or Dr. Scott Rimbey (Adjuncts).
The Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (“FERPA” or “the Buckley Amendment”) prohibits USF's release of student information, including grades, except under circumstances designed to insure student privacy. Grades may be posted so long as individual student identities are not disclosed in connection with the grade. For example, student grades may not be posted next to a student name or complete social security number. However, a student's grade may be posted aside a code number which only the individual student would recognize or by partial social security number. Evaluated papers or tests should be returned directly to the student and not left alone in a location for pickup where other individuals have an opportunity to see or review the grades or evaluations of students.
