Dr. Jiro Nagao
Visiting Research Professor, 2003-2004




Dr. Jiro Nagao and Dr. George Nolas Dr. Jiro Nagao of the Institute of Energy Utilization, National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, Hokkaido, Japan, visited February 28 - 29, 2002. Dr. Nagao gave a seminar to the physics department entitled "Electron tunneling experiments on semiconductor materials".

Dr. Ryoji Funahashi of the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science & Technology, Osaka, Japan, visited December 5 - 7 and was the speaker for our December 6, 2002 physics colloquium entitled "Possibility of thermoelectric power generation from high temperature waste heat". Dr. Ryoji Funahashi and Dr. George Nolas

Toyota Representatives Three representatives of Toyota Inc. visited the Laboratory on December 10, 2002.
