Located in the rapidly growing Department of Physics at the University of South Florida, the Functional Materials Laboratory focuses on magnetism at the nanoscale. We synthesize and perform measurements on magnetic nanoparticles, thin films, and composites for a varierty of purposes ranging from radio frequency devices to biomedical applications. Our goal is to understand magnetism on the smallest scales while exploring new and exciting phenomena. Please take a closer look at our group and research interests!
