o   FML graduate student Nick Bingham selected with full financial support to attend the IEEE Magnetics Society Summer School to be held in September 2009 in Nanjing University, China

o   Monet Morales graduates with M.S. degree in Summer 2009

o   Former FML student Natalie Frey is moving from Brown University to NIST (Gaithersburg) to take up an NRC Postdoctoral position with the Magnetic Materials group in October 2009

o    Dr. Victorino Franco is a Visiting Scientist in FML for two months (July-September, 2009)   

o   Thanks to a new DURIP grant from ARO, FML will acquire a magnetron sputtering system for thin film deposition (July 2008)
