This is a Special Session of the American Mathematical Society (AMS), which is the leading organization on (pure) mathematical research and scholarship in the United States. Other mathematical organizations include:

And the topic is within the jurisdiction of the International Union of Crystallography (IUCr).

The Special Session on Modeling Crystalline and Quasi-Crystalline Materials is being held in Room 112 of the BSN building on March 10 - 11, as part of the 1,079th Meeting of the American Mathematical Society: here is the full program and information about housing, registration, etc..

Incidentally, we are next door to the Special Session on Discrete Models in Molecular Biology, in BSN 115, which will be followed by a workshop on Discrete and Topological Models in Molecular Biology on March 12 - 14.

Schedule

All talks will be held in room 112 of the Business Administration Building (BSN) at the northwest corner of USF Alumni Drive and USF Maple Drive; information about parking, etc., may be obtained at the Campus Information Center (CIC) on LeRoy Collins Boulevard just off the main entrance on Fowler Ave..
