PhD, Cornell University, 1975. Systematics of the genus Ptychosperma (Arecaceae)
Current interests:
Mosses of Central Florida – my current goal is to prepare an
illustrated, on-line guide to the mosses of the Tampa Bay Area on this website,
including an interactive key. This is a
work-in-progress, and would be delighted to hear from others with a similar
interest.
Technical Publications – Palms, Clematis
These are my publications, from 1970 to 2008, on palms,
primarily palms of Papua New Guinea and
the Pacific region, and a number of papers on Clematis (Ranunculaceae)
.
These are for fun, and those of you who have gardens in Florida or in subtropical regions outside of Florida may find some practical pointers as well.
