Research I am interested in how feeding 9 billion people in the next 50 years will affect public health. I am interested in studying how to meet the global food demand in a manner that is environmentally sustainable, in particular, how eliminating human helminth parasites migth reduce the global food demand. Second, I am interested in studying how the increased pesticide use needed to increase food production will affect the prevalence of cancers, congenital diseases, and infectious diseases of humans.
