Simulation of a Band Pass Filter Circuit

The following project is a simulation of the circuit for a simple band pass filter. This project is intended to illustrate the mathematical concepts behind the design of a simple band pass filter. I used Microsoft Excel to create a spreadsheet to represent the functions associated with input/output voltages and currents within the circuit and graphed them as a function of time. This gives a visual representation of the input and output voltages, which allows us to see if the circuit is working as intended. From my results I concluded that the filter did work as intended however, the crossover frequencies left a small amount of the high frequencies in the output voltage. Another undesired effect was the reduction in amplitude of the middle frequency, which was the frequency that the filter was supposed to let through. Since the critical frequency of the filter is equal to (RC)-1, with R=Resistance in Ohms and C=Capacitance in Farads, adjusting these values from the values given, showed proportional changes in the amplitude of the three frequencies within the output voltage.
