Stirling Cycle Volume and Angle Correlation

In a Stirling engine there is an angle, theta, which changes with respect to the pressure change inside the cylinder. As the engine operates, theta changes between negative ninety and two hundred seventy degrees. This is a full cycle for the piston rod to spin around the crank shaft. The purpose of this project was to establish an equation relating this change in theta to the change in volume inside the piston chamber as the engine is operating.
