Submitted : Fall 2010

This project proposes a method to calculate unknown values of photovoltaic curve with limited known parameters. The I-V curve had three important parameters: open circuit, maximum power, and short circuit. The project presented this equation and the goal was to evaluate for the unknown parameter I1 , I0, and B.  To evaluate the equation at its maximum voltage and amperage, differentiate the equation and set it equal to zero, then solve for I0. The unknown parameters: I1 =2.54 A, I0= 2.31 A and, B=0.034.
