Calculation of Imaging Projections

There are many advantages to discovering what is going on inside an object without actually entering it. We prefer our bodies to be examined without invasive surgery. These procedures aid in reducing risk, enabling faster recovery time and lowering expense. In this paper, we will examine image projection when a material is imaged using radiation to produce a 2-D projection. The intensity of the radiation reaching the detector depends on the optical density f(x,y) of the material that the radiation is passing through. We will use some integration techniques to understand this concept.
