Filling a Water Tower

If someone has been given a real life problem that asks them to find the most efficient energy used at the most sufficient cost, C, which it takes to fill a water tower that has a 40 ft. tall and a 2 ft. in diameter cylinder connected to a sphere with a diameter of 20 ft., in which they have to fill from a water table 75 ft. below ground level. They should begin by following the steps laid out in the directions. First, to find the volume of the cylinder and spherical tank, an equation must be found by using the given equation dV/dt=W.
