Van der Waals Equation at Constant Pressure

In this project we took the derivative of volume with respect to temperature in the van der Waals equation and compared it to the derivative of volume with respect to temperature in the ideal gas equation. This allowed us to find the rate of change of the volume as temperature changed and pressure remained constant for methane, ethanol, and ethyl acetate. The results of those calculations were not as expected and we concluded that temperature may have had more of an effect than expected.
