Applications of Calculus in the Instantaneous Voltage Across an Inductor

This project explores a practical Electrical Engineering application of calculus through inductors. Inductors are a very common electrical component in everyday devices such as radios and audio equipment. The instantaneous voltage across an inductor is represented by a first-order differential equation. In this project I use this differential equation to solve for an ideal circuit with a 5V voltage source and an 11mH inductor. I then modeled this data over a time interval to represent the relationship between the voltage in an inductor and the current passing through it.
