Function of Men's 100M World Record Improvement over Time

The focus of this project differentiates between the Men’s 100-meter World Record times to the time elapsed from when they were ran. The function of time which describes this model, was found through graphically plotting the data, interpreting graphs, and performing various calculations. The function of time was then compared to real time data. Conclusions drawn from the results provide that as more time elapsed, the function increasingly becomes inaccurate, and the model could serve as a guide to predict future 100-meter world records.
