by Sayuri Kitada

Submitted : Spring 2017

People are under radiation exposure, which is harmful to human bodies, in everyday life such as even heat and light by the sun and X-ray scan in hospitals. A huge amount of radiation was released by Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Disaster in Japan. In this project, an amount of radiation that could be absorbed by human body is calculated to compare with the amount of emitted radiation by the accident. A risk of serious health problems is not as high as immediately after the accident, but there is still a possibility for people to get some diseases even after a long time.
