Cooling of the Oceanic Lithosphere

By manipulating fourier's law and utilizing integration techniques, one can quantify the rates at which the oceanic lithosphere cools and (by the law of conservation) project the future of subduction zones, thus providing a more functional understanding of volcanic and seismic schedules.
