Sending A Rocket to the Moon

by Jordan Ustaszewski

Submitted : Fall 2016

The purpose of this project is to discuss some of the basic principles of rocket propulsion and space travel, as well as determine whether a modern rocket could travel to the moon in the simplest way possible, by achieving escape velocity.  It becomes clear that achieving escape velocity, while convenient, is not possible with current technology, and other methods discussed in the project must be used.
