Work and Conservation of Energy with Vector Calculus

by Matthew Brockus

Submitted : Fall 2016

For this project, I intend to take given equations for work, and derive them using methods learned in MAC2283. I will do this by defining each parameter given to us in depth and expanding it into a workable form. I will then show why these derived equations work through graphic and analytical means. In this project, I will use a variation of techniques to derive these equations. Including, but not limited to; dot products, tangential vectors, the fundamental theorem of calculus, and the length of a curve of multiple variables.
