Calculus with Constant Acceleration - Airplane Runways

by Josh Bolan

Submitted : Fall 2015

The objective to this project was to describe the system of an airplane’s motion going down a runway in two dimensions given constant acceleration.  This would also include deriving equations to find the distance until the airplane took off and how much time it would take. Friction will be accounted for to implement a realistic airplane take off.  For simplicity, we will consider that the airplane’s initial velocity is zero.
