Bridge Design

For this project I considered a 30 meter long bridge that weighs 600,000 Newtons. supported by two 5 meter long pillars spaced 5 meters from each end. The force and torque acting on different points of the beam bridge by vehicles was calculated by summing the forces. Locations of trusses and beams were also altered to test the bridge from different aspects. The conclusion was straightforward in that the force was dissipated evenly in equilibrium throughout the beam bridge.
